Challenge

The client lacked baseline data in order to assess the prevailing stability situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This information was essential for future planning and implementation efforts.

Solution

To support this requirement, the client engaged  Madison Springfield to conduct primary qualitative and quantitative research in order to identify key baseline indicators of stability that could be monitored over time to assess how the stability situation was evolving. A multidisciplinary team comprised of social scientists and local researchers was assembled to collect and analyze data related to prevailing economic, security, political and social trends.

Result

The data yielded by the assessment was used to establish a measures of effectiveness framework that the client could monitor over time to assess how the stability situation was changing and the effect the client programs were having on enhancing stability.
